The training in the new College shall follow the annual system initially but will gradually move to a system where individuals can enroll any time of the year.
The college will start with three specializations namely, business and management, Law and computer studies. Later on, with the improvement in infrastructure, human cadre, and academic programs, other specializations can be established.
At the same time, the current students at the Centre shall be phased out by the university regulations.
Establishment is usually expensive; however, the College could start with the present facilities of the center in addition to IT labs and offices and build on what could be obtained and afforded with the help of the University and others.
As regards the faculty members, the participating schools in the university have an appreciable number of staff who have good experience in distance education practices. Those staff members could be seconded to work with the College after additional training on electronic and online teaching.
