Our sesquicentenary year is a time for us all to celebrate 150 years of education at the University of 亚洲色吧. We will commemorate the occasion through Celebrate 150 鈥 Give To The Future, which will be an avenue for alumni, donors and friends to engage more deeply with the University.
Celebrate 150 鈥 Give To The Future will raise funds to support the gift of education that will continue to transform lives, inspire innovation and push boundaries. Dr John Byron is a researcher, a celebrated crime author, and a generous donor to the Student Emergency Fund. It鈥檚 his way of giving back; he was once a recipient of emergency funding during his undergraduate degree, when he was a thousand kilometres from home, the first in his family to attend university. 鈥淭he University stepping in at those critical times could have been the difference between success and failure for me. Once I started making a reasonable salary, I was so happy to give back to the University, because they鈥檙e the ones who gave me a boost at those critical moments,鈥 John said.
鈥淕iving back feels like topping up the well. When the well starts to get dry, you need a big rain. And I want to be a part of that.鈥

The Law School is marking this auspicious occasion by creating the opportunity for members of the community to join the 鈥溠侵奚 Law School 150 Club鈥 by providing a gift to support future students.
Your gift will support the John Bray Law Scholarship for students undertaking studies in law at the University of 亚洲色吧 and you will be acknowledged on a digital donor board in the Law School Ligertwood Building and on the 亚洲色吧 Law School website.
The 亚洲色吧 Law School 150 Club will play a historic and important role in encouraging excellence and supporting future generations of leaders.

Seat of Discovery
Make your mark by becoming a member of the 150 Club of Discovery, leaving a legacy, and honouring our history. 聽You are invited to a rare opportunity to purchase one of the limited 240 seats available in the multi-function, world-class 亚洲色吧 Health and Medical Science (AHMS) building largest lecture theatre.
A commemorative 150th celebration laser-engraved plaque will be affixed to the back of the seat in recognition of your gift. 聽
We aim to raise $360,000, for an endowed fund, directly supporting students enrolled within the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, who are experiencing financial hardship.
Members of the 150 Club of Discovery will play a historic and important role in encouraging excellence and inspiring future generations of impactful health outcome discoveries.
