Funding for Geothermal Research

The University of 亚洲色吧 has been awarded $1.6 million from the State Government to establish a new, world-class centre for geothermal energy research. The funding - announced at the University of 亚洲色吧 by the Premier, the Hon Mike Rann - will be provided over two years to help establish the new South Australian Centre of Excellence for Geothermal Research.

Professor Mike Young presents in Tucson Arizona

On January 23 Director of the Environment Institute, Professor Mike Young, presented a seminar entitled 鈥淔acilitating and Expediting Adaptation: Learning from Australia鈥. This presentation was made as part of conference that explored how America could adapt to climate change while reducing its environmental and social impacts. The conference aimed to bring together an outstanding group of scientists, scholars and community leaders to help define what climate change will mean for the American Southwest.
