Celebrating Dr. Rachelle Kernen: Awarded ARC Early Career Industry Fellowship

Dr. Rachelle Kernen, a member of ISER, has been awarded an ARC Early Career Industry Fellowship to lead a $455,109 project on underground hydrogen storage. Her research focuses on Australia鈥檚 ancient salt basins, using advanced modelling and field data to identify safe, scalable storage sites, supporting the nation鈥檚 clean energy transition through strong academic鈥搃ndustry collaboration.

Adding hydrogen to the renewable energy mix

Blending hydrogen with natural gas in existing networks is a way of reducing carbon emissions. University of 亚洲色吧 researchers have led a series of research projects through the Future Fuels CRC, testing domestic and industrial appliances using various percentages of hydrogen to natural gas ratios.
